Fast, precise and easy to use. The 3D printer for educational and schools
Sharebot Kiwi-3D is a small, craft 3D printer dedicated to schools, students, hobbysts and young professionals who want to start working with 3D printing technology using a solid, rapid, easy to use and reliable tool with small size that can be used in every working environmet. The printer has also the tipical and elegant “Made in Italy” design.
Sharebot Kiwi-3D is available from a starting price of €899 and it has a building area of 140x100x100 mm; it uses FFF (Fused Filament Fabrication) technology to realize functional objects, models and prototypes with great quality. Kiwi-3D comes from the Sharebot NG development and it has the aim to transform every desk in a personal creativity center.
The printer has a LCD screen (with an easy to use control knob to scroll up and down the entire machine menu) which allows to control and manage the entire printing process, modifying parameters and settings, selecting the object you want to print directly from the SD card. It’s also possible to work on printer settings during the printing process to improve the print quality.
Kiwi-3D is optimized to print with PLA-S (a easy to use thermoplastic filament with good quality and definition); it has a 0.4 mm nozzle while the minimum layer thickness is 0.1 mm to have the better resolution even on the smallest detail.

The ultimate educational tools for students
Educational
Sharebot desktop 3D printer Kiwi-3D is the perfect tool to start learning all the secrets of 3D printing and tranform every school desk in a personal creation center.
The printer is based on Arduino motherboards and comes from the open philosophy, allowing to be used with all the most used slicing softwares: every printing setting can be modified to learn all the secrets of 3D printing or to use it as non-traditional, advanced and innovative educational tools for kids and young students.
Sharebot didactitcs has the aim to ease this learning process with lessons, videos, tutorials and demo. We want to help learning how to use 3D printing tools, how to develop new expertise so that everyone can be able to realize projects and design in the easiest way.
Sharebot Academy is expecially focused on young kids and students, preparing them to the competition they’ll find in the future and the tools they’ll use in the Industry 4.0.
EDUino – 3D printed robot to learn coding
EDUino is a bug look like robot that can be completely 3D printed at school and, being based on Arduino technology, allows to learn the main principles of robotics and coding (with basic and advanced lessons) thanks to the integrated papaers attached with the FABsussidiario volume.
The designs and files to print and build EDUino are already loaded inside the SD Card of the Sharebot KIWI-3D EDU. Students will also find the programming sketch. One the most exicing features of EDUino is about the fact that it’s completely open: students and teachers can modifty the robot adding new features, sensors or changing the printed parts!
Material
PLA-S
PLA’s the most used 3D printing material, composed by a thermoplastic polymer derivated from corn and it’s biodegradable. PLA’s resistant and solid (avoiding the warping effect during the printing process) without retraction and deformation. Available in a lot of different colors, it doesn’t release any smell and it can be extruded at lower temperatures than any other material without having to heat the printing bed.
